Crozer Health’s trauma surgery department recently earned its second consecutive three-year accreditation under the impressive leadership of M. Hassan Budeir, MD, and Program Director Sandra Durgin, MSN, RN, CEN, TCRN. The Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF) board notified the team of its successful survey, indicating accreditation for the maximum period of three years.
The site surveyors were especially impressed with Crozer Health’s experienced advanced practitioners, and the program’s commitment to trauma education. They also noted the excellent collaboration between the program’s performance improvement coordinators and the registrars.
