As we approach the one-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s encouraging to see how enthusiastically and selflessly Californians are still stepping up to care for one another. From the health professionals working around the clock to provide life-saving care, to the grocery store employees and food warehouse workers helping to keep their communities fed, to the educators preparing and teaching remote lessons, to the families social distancing at home to help flatten the curve, the past year has made it clear: we’re in this together.
